What an amazing evening! Congratulations to our 2018 Green Awards winners: Shaarei-Beth El Congregation in Oakville and Christ the King Catholic Secondary School in Georgetown. GSS Halton-Peel is proud to support you and acknowledge the great work you have been doing in your faith communities. Our deep gratitude to Chief Stacey LaForme from the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation for being an incredible guest speaker at the event, and to our Honourable guest speakers Min. Karina Gould, Min. Indira Naidoo-Harris and words from Min. Kevin Flynn. Thank you to all the enthusiastic members from faith communities and other environmentally minded groups in Halton and Peel that came out to celebrate and support our award recipients at this event!

The great work of GSS Halton-Peel would not be possible without the generous support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation. We are truly grateful for all you do to help us propel programming in our community. We also want to give a shout out to the teams at Halton Environmental Network and Faith and the Common Good for all the incredible support for our program and helping with wonderful events like this!
